Dahlia ‘Café au Lait Rosé’ is a spectacular large-flowered Decorative Dahlia, known as the richly colored pink sister of the iconic Café au Lait.

Its enormous, fully double blooms display luxurious raspberry to cerise-pink tones with rich purplish-pink shading, creating a much more saturated color than the soft cream and blush shades of the original Café au Lait.

The RHS records flowers up to approximately 22 cm across, while specialist Dutch growers list blooms reaching approximately 25 cm. Plants typically grow around 100–110 cm tall.

Its impressive flower size and rich pink colorings make Café au Lait Rosé exceptional for cutting gardens, wedding flowers and premium floral arrangements.

Growing in Kuwait

• For Kuwait conditions, Dahlia ‘Café au Lait Rosé’ is best grown during the cooler growing season after extreme summer temperatures have declined.
• A practical planting period is: October to November
• Plant tubers approximately 10–15 cm deep, positioning the crown and growing eyes upward.
• Avoid excessive watering immediately after planting. Once shoots emerge and an active root system develops, gradually increase watering while maintaining excellent drainage.
• Provide strong sunlight during the cooler months, with some protection from intense afternoon heat as temperatures rise toward the end of the season.
• Because plants reach approximately 100–110 cm tall and carry exceptionally large blooms, staking or plant support is strongly recommended.
