Alcea Rosea Spring Celebrities Crimson is a Fleuroselect Approved Novelty Award-winning dwarf annual hollyhock — a completely new dimension in compact hollyhock design. Unlike traditional hollyhocks that require two years and 150 to 200 cm of border space, Spring Celebrities Crimson produces uniquely bushy, branching plants of just 60 to 80 cm tall, loaded with large, fully double to semi-double rich crimson blooms from its very first year with no vernalization required. Flowers continuously for up to 3 months. Ideal for containers, raised beds, patio pots, and front-of-border plantings where the classic hollyhock character is desired in a compact, manageable form. In Kuwait, grown as a cool-to-warm season annual for a spectacular late winter and spring display.
