Growing in Kuwait

For Kuwait conditions, Dahlia ‘Opportunity’ is best grown during the cooler growing season once extreme summer temperatures have declined.
A practical planting period is: October to November
Plant the tubers approximately 5–10 cm deep, positioning the crown and growing eyes upward.
Avoid excessive watering immediately after planting. Once shoots emerge and an active root system develops, gradually increase watering while maintaining excellent drainage.
Provide strong sunlight during the cooler months, with some protection from intense afternoon heat as temperatures rise toward the end of the season.
Because plants reach approximately 100 cm tall, staking or plant support is recommended.
