Dahlia ‘Pink Pearl’, officially registered as ‘Pink Pearl FDM’, is an elegant Ball Dahlia prized for its perfectly rounded form and exceptionally soft pastel coloring.
Its fully double blooms combine very pale blush-pink outer petals with creamy-white to soft creamy-yellow tones toward the centre, giving the flowers a delicate, luminous pearl-like appearance. The International Dahlia Register records flowers up to 10 cm across, with stems around 80 cm, while commercial production sources list plants reaching approximately 100 cm.

Growing in Kuwait

• For Kuwait conditions, Dahlia ‘Pink Pearl’ is best grown during the cooler growing season once extreme summer temperatures have declined.
• A practical planting period is: October to November
• Plant tubers approximately 10–15 cm deep, positioning the crown and growing eyes upward.
• Avoid excessive watering immediately after planting. Once shoots and active roots develop, gradually increase watering while maintaining excellent drainage.
• Provide good sunlight during the cooler months, with some protection from intense afternoon heat as temperatures rise toward the end of the season.
• Because mature plants may reach approximately 80–100 cm tall, light staking or plant support is recommended.
