Then, moisten a paper towel, lay the seeds out in a single layer, wrap it with a dry paper towel, and place it in a sealed plastic bag in your refrigerator for 10-15 days before planting.

If you see sprouts appearing in the bag, plant them immediately. You can start seeds indoors about 5 weeks before the last expected frost or your desired outdoor planting time, sowing them at a shallow depth of 3 mm (1/8″). Space seeds about 1.3 cm (1/2″) apart initially.

Once seedlings have a few sets of leaves, thin them out to a final plant spacing of 25 cm (10″) to ensure good air circulation. Before transplanting outdoors, be sure to harden off the seedlings gradually. Feed plants once per week to encourage healthy growth and abundant flowering. Choose a location with full sun to part shade for best results.
