Organic Speedy Bush Beans
Introducing Bean Speedy Organic Bush, a certified organic bush bean variety renowned for its exceptionally early maturity, reaching harvest in just 50 days. This makes it a perfect choice for gardeners with short growing seasons. You’ll be delighted by the straight, light green pods that are nearly stringless and offer an exceptional flavor.
The compact, bushy plants are highly productive, loading up with an impressive yield of these delicious beans. Furthermore, Speedy Organic Bush exhibits resistance to Bean Common Mosaic Virus (BCMV), Anthracnose, and halo blight, ensuring a healthy and abundant harvest.
For a continuous supply of these flavorful beans, sow seeds every three to four weeks. Once mature, the plants will produce a concentrated pod set over about a two-week period.
For successful organic cultivation, direct sow seeds from mid-May to the beginning of July, ideally during a warm, dry spell when the soil is warm (optimal temperature 70-90°F or 21-32°C).
Sow seeds 1-2 inches deep and 2-3 inches apart in rows 18-24 inches apart. Thin seedlings to at least 6 inches apart. For a continuous harvest, plant at 3-week intervals. Speedy Organic Bush thrives in well-drained, warm soil in full sun, with an ideal pH of 6.0-6.5.
Consistent watering is important, especially during flowering and pod development. Pick beans regularly to encourage continued production.
