Growing Tips for Your Coleus Flowers Seeds:
Sowing Indoors (Recommended): Sow seeds in trays indoors at any time of year for houseplants, or 6-8 weeks before the last expected frost for outdoor planting. Sow seeds 1-2 cm deep in a moist, humus-rich seed-starting mix. Maintain a warm temperature of at least 20-24°C (68-75°F) for germination, which typically takes 2-3 weeks.
Planting Out: Transplant seedlings outdoors from mid-May onwards, spacing them 25 cm (10 inches) apart, once all danger of frost has passed.
Location: Choose a location that receives sun, partial shade, or even full shade. The best leaf coloring often occurs in partial shade.
Soil: Prefers any humus-rich garden soil.
Watering: Water regularly, keeping the soil consistently moist.
Tip for Best Color: Partial shade often enhances the most vibrant leaf coloration.
