Growing Tips for Your Daucus Dara Seeds:

Direct Seed (recommended): Sow seeds thinly in rows, covering lightly, during your growing season (or in the fall in warmer southern regions). For a continuous harvest, make 2-3 successive sowings, spaced 2 weeks apart.

Transplant: Sow seeds 4-6 weeks before your last expected frost. When the first true leaves appear, transplant seedlings into larger containers. Harden off seedlings before transplanting outdoors.

Tips for Success: Chilling seeds at 40-45°F (5-8°C) for 1-2 weeks prior to greenhouse sowing can improve germination. Cooler temperatures of 58-62°F (14-17°C) are best for seedling establishment. Support may be needed in windy locations. Choose a sunny site with average, well-drained soil. Established plants can tolerate drier conditions.

Space plants 3-12 inches apart. Harvest for fresh bouquets when less than 80% of the flowers are open. For dried arrangements, harvest when flowers are fully open and before pollen sheds.
