Growing Tips for Your Ptilotus Joey Seeds:
Sow seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last expected frost or directly outdoors after all danger of frost has passed and soil temperatures are consistently warm (75-80°F or 24-27°C).
Needs Light to germinate! Do Not cover with soil or other planting medium! Gently press seeds onto the surface of a moist, well-draining seed-starting mix.
Provide plenty of sunlight or grow lights. Transplant seedlings outdoors, spacing them 8-10 inches apart in a sunny location with light, well-drained soil. Water lightly, especially when establishing, as this plant prefers drier conditions once mature.
Fertilize every two weeks during the growing season. Hardy to 32°F (0°C), typically grown as an annual in cooler climates.
