Unique Chocolate and Vanilla Fragrance
Indulge your senses with the Scented Flower Chocolate with Cream mix, a delightful combination of two fragrant flowers designed to create a unique aroma reminiscent of chocolate ice cream with cream. This mix features the “chocolate flower,” described as having yellow flowers similar to sunflowers (approximately 3-4cm in size), and the “vanilla flower,” which is Heliotrope (*Heliotropium arborescens*) with deep dark blue blooms.
The contrasting colors of yellow and deep dark blue create an attractive visual display in your garden, while their combined fragrance offers an extraordinary sensory experience unlike other scented flowers.
This scented flower mix is not only a treat for the senses but also beneficial for your garden’s ecosystem, attracting bees, bumblebees, and butterflies. The seeds are easy to sow, and the resulting flowers are relatively easy to care for. Their versatile nature allows them to thrive in beds, tubs, or rock gardens, adapting to your landscaping needs.
Enjoy their fragrant blooms throughout a long flowering period. Additionally, compared to some other flowers, this mix exhibits better tolerance to short dry periods. For successful cultivation, you can start seeds indoors in August (pre-culture) by sowing them shallowly (about 0.5 cm deep) in pots with sowing soil, keeping them warm and moist. Direct sowing outdoors is recommended in October or November.
Choose a sunny to semi-shaded location and maintain a planting distance of 30×30 cm. Regularly remove faded flowers to encourage continuous blooming. Germination takes 20-25 days at 18-22°C. Plant these fragrant beauties close to your seating areas to fully enjoy their unique “chocolate with cream” scent.
