Growing Tips for Your Stock (Matthiola) Column Mix Seeds:
Sow seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last expected frost or directly outdoors after all danger of frost has passed. Cover seeds lightly with soil (approximately 1/4 inch) and maintain a soil temperature of 60-70°F (15-21°C) for germination, which typically takes 7-14 days.
Transplant seedlings outdoors, spacing them about 6-12 inches apart in a sunny location with well-drained soil. Stock prefers cooler temperatures, especially for optimal double flower production.
Succession planting every few weeks will extend the blooming season.
