Growing in Kuwait

  • For Kuwait conditions, Dahlia ‘Mango Madness’ is best grown during the cooler growing season once extreme summer temperatures have declined.
  • A practical planting period is: October to November
  • Plant tubers approximately 10–15 cm deep, positioning the crown and growing eyes upward.
  • Avoid excessive watering immediately after planting. Once active shoots and roots develop, gradually increase watering while maintaining excellent drainage.
  • Provide good sunlight during the cooler months, with some protection from intense afternoon heat as temperatures rise toward the end of the season.
  • Because the plant can reach around 105–120 cm tall and carry exceptionally large 25–28 cm blooms, strong staking is recommended.
