The flowers display a sophisticated blend of warm apricot-pink to soft peachy tones, gradually transitioning toward a vivid golden-yellow center. The International Dahlia Register records the outer florets as vivid yellowish-pink and the inner florets as vivid yellow.
Blooms measure approximately 12 cm across, while mature plants reach around 120 cm tall, producing long stems that make this variety especially useful for cutting and floral design.

Growing in Kuwait

• For Kuwait conditions, Dahlia ‘P.G. Wodehouse’ is best grown during the cooler growing season after extreme summer temperatures have declined.
• A practical planting period is: October to November
• Plant tubers approximately 5–10 cm deep, positioning the crown and growing eyes upward.
• Avoid excessive watering immediately after planting. Once shoots emerge and active roots develop, gradually increase watering while maintaining excellent drainage.
• Provide strong sunlight during the cooler months, with some protection from intense afternoon heat as temperatures rise toward the end of the season.
• Because plants reach approximately 120 cm tall, staking or plant support is strongly recommended.
