Stock Incana Iron Marine Seeds

Matthiola incana Iron Marine is part of the Iron series by Sakata Ornamentals. Marine is a deep, dark tone within the blue-violet spectrum — a rich, saturated hue that sits between deep purple and navy, offering a distinctive cool darkness that is less common in cut flower stock ranges and therefore particularly valuable for creating contrast and depth in floral compositions. This color performs with exceptional visual strength in mono vases as a dramatic statement stem and provides a strong grounding element in multi-color arrangements.
The stem structure follows the Iron series standard: tall, rigid, and with very tightly spaced florets. Approximately 55% of plants produce double flowers without seedling selection. Flower initiation requires nighttime temperatures below 15–18°C for 10–21 days.
