  • The 20–30 g fruits offer excellent flavor and are ideal for fresh eating, salads and colorful dishes. Its compact, determinate growth makes it particularly suitable for patio containers, balconies and gardens with limited space. The variety is also noted for foliage that remains attractive and green throughout much of the plant’s productive life.

Growing in Kuwait

  • Transplant outdoors from October through January.
  • Provide 6–8 hours of direct sunlight for healthy growth and strong dark fruit coloration.
  • Use fertile, well-draining soil enriched with compost.
  • Grow one plant in a container of at least 15–20 litres; a larger pot provides better moisture stability.
  • Water consistently without leaving the roots in waterlogged soil.
  • Add a small cage or support to prevent fruit-laden branches from bending.
  • As a determinate variety, it requires minimal pruning.
  • Retain sufficient foliage to protect fruits from sunscald as temperatures rise.
  • Harvest only when the lower portion of the fruit has turned orange-red or red.
