Impatiens Walleriana Beacon Mix

Impatiens Walleriana Beacon Mix: Mildew-Resistant Color for Shady Spaces

A game-changing variety specifically bred to offer exceptional resistance to Impatiens Downy Mildew (IDM), a disease that once devastated traditional Impatiens. This resilience means you can confidently plant this garden favorite again, even in areas where the disease previously caused failure.

The Beacon Mix provides a vivid, non-stop burst of color. The plant maintains a compact, uniform growth habit, reaching approximately 25–30 cm in both height and spread.

It thrives in shade to part shade, tolerating morning sun but preferring protection from intense afternoon heat. Maintain consistent soil moisture (avoid waterlogging) and fertilize lightly every 2–3 weeks for optimal performance. Requiring no deadheading, the Beacon Mix is a reliable, low-maintenance choice.
