• Coleus ‘China Rose’ is a striking foliage plant featuring serrated burgundy leaves marked by a vivid dark-pink splash through the center.
• A finecovering over the foliage gives the leaves an attractive soft, muted sheen.
• Its upright, bushy habit makes it an excellent feature plant for decorative containers, mixed arrangements and shaded garden beds. Regular pinching of the growing tips encourages stronger branching and a fuller, more compact shape.
• ‘China Rose’ is grown primarily for its colorful foliage. Flower spikes may be removed as they appear if the goal is to direct more energy towards leaf and branch development.

Growing in Kuwait

• Outdoor growing season: Autumn through spring
• Indoor growing: Suitable year-round in bright filtered light
• Light outdoors: Morning sun or bright partial shade
• Summer protection: Keep indoors or in a cooled, heavily shaded area
• Soil: Light, fertile and well-drained potting mix
• Watering: Water when the upper 2–3 cm of the growing medium begins to dry
• Pinching: Pinch growing tips regularly for a dense, bushy plant
• Feeding: Apply a balanced liquid fertiliser at a mild concentration during active growth
• Do not expose the plant to Kuwait’s strong midday or afternoon sun. Excessive direct sunlight can scorch the foliage and fade its colours, while very low light can weaken growth and reduce color intensity.
